Enjoy a day of the web's best speakers discussing the future of information online.
Well, the time has come folks for The Highland Fling 2008 and boy have I got a great day lined up for you all, the theme this year is going to be "The browser and beyond".
Why the browser and beyond I hear you ask? Simple, the web development industry moves so quickly it is sometimes hard to keep track of what is going on, I wanted to bring into focus the changing landscape around us and provide a platform for us to discuss the future of the web and also the content we care so much about.
Last years event was a great success and I want to thank all of you that helped it take place, not just the people in the background that helped make it happen but also all of you that attended. The topic, the people, the networking and the venue were all fantastic, in fact the venue was so right for the event I have booked it again for this year.
For those of you that didn't make it last year I hope you will take some time out to come along and join in with what is going to be an electric day. With Paul Boag hosting the day and some fantastic speakers this is going to be both fun and informative, all I have to say is I can't wait to see you all on the day.
Tickets are now on sale and a portion of them have been allocated as Early Bird tickets at the reduced price of £99.00, make sure to get in quickly if you want to snap some up. You can register for the event here.
Take care, and enjoy the countdown.
